Portable media (such as USB drives, CDs/DVDs, etc…), provide another way for cybercriminals to gain access to a system. One known way was the Stuxnet worm, which spread via an infected USB drive. If no threats are found, the data is further transferred via diode to a secure network where it is temporarily stored on the SFT/Vault server. Users can access the data after logging in to the server.
